Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose.

Marilyn Holzwarth's Korner

Cheyenne County Kansas is the most NW county in the state.  The county has a very rich and fertile collections of various  records available, and much of that can be contributed to Marilyn Holzwarth who was the Secretary for the County Historical Society for many years.  The Museum in St Frances is a must if you are in that neighborhood some time.  Many records are there that Marilyn helped collect.

Marilyn has built a very large collection of the data for the Cheyenne County Families and you can see it shared on Odessa 3.  Marilyn has provided us permission to pull data from her GEDCOM file in small files like the below items and to be shared with the members of GRHS.

Please note, that the HOLZWARTH families you find in the Rohrbach file below, is indeed of Marilyn's husbands family.  Also, Marilyn was good friends with Paul Reeb, one of the early benefactors of GRHS, who was raised and lived in Cheyenne County.
